Whisk yourself off to Tuscany for an evening and ditch supermarket pasta with this premium, high-density pasta made with 100% organic Tuscan durum wheat. While mass-produced pasta is smooth from Teflon-coated dies, Seggiano pasta is bronze-drawn, giving it a rough, matte texture that is porous and binds perfectly with sauces. Slow drying for 26 hours at temperatures below 50°c preserves the nutritional quality of the grain.
This, in combination with the premium quality of the durum wheat used, gives the cooked pasta its even, firm consistency and excellent flavour. This is the cheese to standard pasta’s chalk.
